I have had my period for a month and I am worried I might get anemic. I took hormone pills for 6 months and it regulated my cycle. I don't if i should get blood work on incase it is more serious?

My mom and others I know that were put on birth control it messed up their system... it worked for a while, then they got irregular again my moms period wouldnt stop sometimes because of the birth control.

Get blood work and talk to your female doctor cause i had periods twice a month and had to be put on birth control. It does take time for the birth control to help tho
