I am worried about taking Dupixent. I am prone to cold sores but i am also extremely itchy and rash. What should I do?

just be careful and wash your hands and body well when on dupixent, i haven’t heard much about how cold sores would go with it but i heard the pink eye risk is up there on it. dupixent isn’t too bad if you find how it works for you. i’m leaving behind autoinjectors and going to syringes 👍

I would definitely try it out :) it really was a game changer for me and my skin and really keeps my issues in check. It was really hard to get used to (I have a needle phobia) but after a few months I was able to tolerate it better. I still can’t give it to myself but I have a sweet boyfriend who does it for me and also my mom does it sometimes as well. Ultimately you want to do what you feel most comfortable with but I think it’s worth a shot if you are able to get it!

I’ve been on Dupixent for over a year. I’ve had no issues and no side effects. I LOVE it because it’s helped sooooo much with my asthma, allergies, chronic sinusitis, and eczema. If your doctor is recommending it I’d try it.
