Worried about Lung Cancer

I want to try and ease your mind a little if I can. Bronchiectasis is a chronic condition, an bronchitis can be chronic as well. Have you seen a pulmonologist? If you haven't, I highly recommend it. They specialize in everything 🫁 (lung) related. You can also have certain bacteria, virus, and even fungal infections that are very treatable. Have you been asked to submit a sputum sample? You cough up what's in your lungs, and a lab analyzes the heck out of it. It's amazing the kinds of things they can test for. I was a Respiratory Therapist for near 20 years, and have seen a lot of lung related things. A chest exray, and chest CAT scan, and even an MRI of your lungs will give a better idea of what's going on. Definitely talk to your Dr. about your concerns. Write down the symptoms you are having so you can tell your doctor about any consistent symptoms, and/or changes that are happening. If you are coughing things up, make sure that you give a good description of it (even pictures). Journaling any symptoms, including when your symptoms are less severe. If you take breathing treatments, stay on schedule, and don't miss doses. I hope this helps and may God bless you 🙏.
