I am just getting back to working after a long absence so I am feeling all sorts of body aches (on my feet for 8 hours). I an combating it by frequently stretching before, during, and after work. Also cracking my back. Otherwise, I try and not strain myself at home and lay in relaxing positions. I also use heat/ice if needed. If at all possible try and take sitting/standing breaks! I personally have very high arched feet so I have special (expensive 😩) insoles for my shoes that I cannot stand without. Those help a ton!

I second what was said about being mindful of too much movement versus too much stationary work. It’s a good idea to have balance in between, so taking breaks to either sit/rest or get up/stretch may be beneficial to managing your symptoms. Hopefully you can find a job that is flexible and accommodating to your needs! That’s what I’m still looking for, it’s tough out there.

I just know that is humans shouldn't be this over worked we weren't made for it. That's why over time people get surgery to have screws and bars ECT to replace the over used body parts. And that's not how bad we should over work our body's ..

Yah I try to slow down and take breaks but I think it's to the point just me doing those movements at any time is harming me. Yah I don't take pain meds because it just covers up the pain it doesn't solve the issue . But yah I'm looking into getting a ultrasound or something like there has to be a way they look at the muscles and joints inside. Also dry needling. Cuz yah injecting something or pills isn't resolving the issue

I have worked in physical labor jobs as well as desk jobs and found difficulties with both. With physical labor it helped me to take multiple breaks, sit down, deep breaths, and stretching! I had a desk job after in which I was very overworked and I didn’t take enough breaks to stand up and move my body a bit and it was worse for my pain honestly. Nowadays I try to not take as many meds for pain I drink chamomile tea twice a day and use ice packs on my body as well. Try to see what works for you and if you can potentially negotiate hours and breaks at work that could help I know that’s not possible in all situations however

Stretching, before and after a shift. Be conscious of how you move your body too. The most important thing is to let coworkers know you need a little bit of help on days where you feel weakness and pain. In the workplace, your coworkers are your best asset to getting things done

Kratom helps me but be safe, I feel the pain from it all; also some exercise can help to unwind your body even though it hurts, wishing you only the best 💕
