I haven't been officially diagnosed and I don't plan to anymore. Mental health professionals don't take me seriously and i don't really care about getting it addressed at this point

I'm 27 and self diagnosed. My therapist agrees but can't diagnose something as complex as autism. However I am on waitlists for a diagnosis. My therapist tried to refer me to people but they only worked with children.

I haven't been properly diagnosed by a doctor because I'm scared to bring it up because I know how hard it is getting a diagnosis at a later age. I'm currently 23 and I am self-diagnosed

i found a person who specializes in adult females late diagnosis who didn't need a referral or anything. They took my insurance. It exists, if you decide its worth the effort for yoy

I'm 19 and not officially diagnosed even though it's super obvious. I'm struggling to find a place that will diagnose me officially.

Self diagnosed so far, really fully admitted to myself this year at 31 and finally started actively learning but honestly I've known it for several years kind of secretly. I just didn't have enough info to be sure and was a little naive and apprehensive to look into it because of what I did not realize was an ableist upbringing.
