Why don't my bruises show up?

My bruises don’t show up. The muscle gets sore yeah, but it doesn’t get discolored at all. Does anyone know the reason for this? I have Ehlers Danlos and even have joint dislocations that don’t bruise in the slightest.

This happens to me (diagnosed eds). Doc explained that my tissue can’t hold the fluid that causes swelling and bruising

Yeah I don't bruise colorfully unless it's a really deep/nasty one

I was diagnosed at very young age and sometimes I just swell up like a balloon. When I get a scratch it’s turns into scars instead.

i had no idea other people had this!! I get this too, it only very very very rarely swells or sometimes the most colour a bruise gets is a beer very faint yellow but that's it and it's very rare! I'm not diagnosed with EDS but I'm looking at what people have posted because I feel like I relate so much to what lots of people describe they suffer with daily, and I think I could have hEDS :)
