Which Doctor Should I See for Genetic Mutation?

Does anyone happen to have a dr who is knowledgeable about this in NY?

Most, myself included, are treated initially by their Psych, bc they were the original doc to diagnose via genesight. That doesn't provide comprehensive care, though. Now that my husband and I want to start a family, we have a geneticist appt (referred through my OBGyn) that will cover all of the necessary basis. All in the name of getting my brain and body at its best before trying to conceive, as MTHFR causes both miscarriages and neural tube defects (which occur at 5-6wks of pregnancy, before an initial OB appt)

Weirdly enough, my psychiatrist is the one treating this for me. She's the one that discovered it and had such amazing knowledge about it because it can be a huge factor in treatment resistant psychiatric symptoms.
