When to See a Doctor for Hemorrhoids: A Guide

How do I know when I need to see a doctor for my hemorrhoids? I have been pooping bright red blood in my bowel movements and it’s never happened to me this many days in a row.

Can you help? connect today

I would go to the doctor now and get it checked out. You’re probably having a really bad flare up. Plus it’s good to get checked to make sure it’s not colon cancer or anything else serious.

My colorectal cancer symptom was large amount of bleeding( more than a pint) over two days. My tumor was at my rectum, so it was bright red. The farther the tumor is up in the colon, the blood is less red.

Interesting. I’m praying it’s nothing more than just hemorrhoids that I’ve neglected to treat.

The reason why I was asking is you might get a colonoscopy

Honestly I would go to the ER just to be safe.
