Thinking about my little boys.
reminding myself that what i’m feeling is temporary always helps in the low times. it’s okay to be sad/angry, as it’s a valid emotion. but it’s not a forever thing, if that makes sense. so when i’m down or anxious, i allow myself to validate it and experience it. but i also remind myself that it’s not permanent. making things helps me when i’m feeling down. i struggle with feeling like i’m useless/worthless at times, so i try to make something to prove myself otherwise. from writing a little sonnet about chris evans, to playing a lick on my bass, to making some yummy ass food, etc. making something proves to myself that i’m doing good things and worth something. but i’m always worth something. and so are you. you are all valid and important and loved, and y’all are capable and deserving of good things. i’m here if anyone needs to chat. 💙

Making and drinking coffee
Focus on getting through the rest of the day. If that feels too overwhelming, focus on how you will spend the next hour. If that’s too much, get through the next minute. And once you’ve done that, tackle the next one. Gradually it gets easier and you can look further ahead without feeling too overwhelmed.
Honestly I’d say for me listening to music constantly.
