I'm just curious as to what best helps people when its not necessarily a flare up but just a little more uncomfortable the next day. I drink mint tea and I believe it helps. What about you??

I eat watermelon for my uncomfortable days. I will eat watermelon in replace of a meal the day that I have some type of discomfort. It’s very soothing to the bladder for me.

@SilverNGold oh interesting!! what are your triggers, if you don't mind me asking? mine is acidics

@wishywashy Mine is too! But it’s specifically alcohol because I love wine 🍷 But I can drink it like I would want to. I typically drink wine twice a week, and I usually have to drink a couple of bottles of water right before drinking a glass of wine or my flare up will last for like 3 days.

@wishywashy I can eat or drink anything else without any problem, but alcohol triggers my flare up. Oh! And I think I have an issue with soy products as well.

Have you tried the medicine pre relief before eating spicy or bothersome foods?

I just started that and it definitely seems to help. Are you supposed to use as a preventative or just when in a flair?

I drink lots of water, a heating pad at times and anytime I start feeling uncomfortable, I use a pelvic wand which many people specifically use for when they are in a flare up or can tell they are about to have one.
