Wellbutrin XL Side Effects - What Should I Do?

what side effects did you guys have with wellbutrin? i’m on or was on wellbutrin xl for a couple weeks and i had all the super uncommon ones like anxiety, rashes, sore throat, muscle pain and more. i also have fibromyalgia so the anxiety was increasing my pain to an extreme amount. my psychiatrist said i could stop taking it till i see her again but i just wanna know i should try it again or ask for something else?

I had similar side effects to Prozac after taking it for nearly 3 years, but if you’re having those effects already your psych will probably want to have you try something else.

Just a word of caution. Once you get to doses of 150 mgs or higher it can cause seizures. It's even worse for people who have seizure disorders and epilepsy.

Wellbutrin helped me a ton until it didn't. If you're having a lot of pain with fibro, ask about cymbalta. Cymbalta is used for depression and anxiety but helps with nerve/bone pain. First 2 weeks suck but after that it made a huge difference in my pain and mental state
