Questions about Wellbutrin side effects and effectiveness

It takes about 4 weeks to see a different mentally. After my experience on it, I would be on the lookout for dramatically increased irrritation/anger and constipation. Worked for some of my friends like a charm. Not the rx for me, though. I hope it's a good match for you!

You may feel like eating less. For me it's good because I eat my feelings. Overtime you may feel more energetic because of the norepinephrine staying in your system longer. You may need to be on an additional antidepressant if you're still not feeling anything after a month. Keep in mind antidepressants take up to 3 months to fully work, and therapy is needed along side it

Personally, welbutrin shortens my fuse. I get irritable really easily when I'm on it. I've also heard of weight and appetite fluctuations as a common one

I am five days in and so far I haven’t noticed a ton of side effects. Hi I am a little less tired at bedtime, and scroll my phone for longer than I should. Today, I was just feeling off. A little shaky, brain fog, and just generally feeling yucky for a few hours but I had a good cry and it passed. I have a friend who didn’t sleep normally for two weeks when she started, but it is better now. I have a lot of trouble sleeping too much, so my doc thinks the Wellbutrin will help with tiredness. I also have noticed a smaller appetite in the last day or so.
