I’m on my second week of Wellbutrin, I feel awful, in bed for 3 days so far from depression. My doctor said it’ll get better and that it’s just my brain and body adjusting to the meds.

@spicysugar But its usually like 60$ to my memory, though it's been a few years since I requested one be done. I hope it's helpful

It really depends on how your liver processes meds, ask if a gene site test could be considered medically necessary cause if he says yes then insurance will cover as much as they will. Though I will say insurance is sometimes iffy on it if you haven't tried at least like 5 different meds of different groups (SSRIs, SNRIs, ect.). This way you can tell if the class of med could be the issue

Wellbutrin takes a few weeks (max 8 weeks), to take effect for depression. Usually you won’t notice anything for a week or two.

@Seae is it normal for it to make you feel worse before it starts to get better?
