has anyone else tried wellbutrin for adhd? has it helped you? my doc didn't give me adderall bc I need to see a cardiologist, so I'm on wellbutrin. let me tell ya, I'm so different now. It's treating my depression really well, but I'm still very fidgety. I can focus slightly better but I'm not sure I'm reaching my full potential lol as long as I'm cleared by cardio, my doctor said she'll let me try adderall, but if it's not gonna be much different, I'm not sure I wanna switch

      everyone is different but adderall made me manic. I wanna try wellbutrin but i've tried so many medications idk

      From what I heard it’s a hit or miss. I took it for 4-5 months. I was on 75mg and it worked for a bit but then I noticed after an hour it would wear off. I also started getting depressed while on it and I stopped taking it after.

        @Aundie I've been on it for about a month now and sometimes I feel towards the end of the day it's just not working. I'll keep an eye on that!

      When I was dx last year, the doc started me on Wellbutrin first and said it would take about a month to kick in. It was AMAZING for my GAD and depression, but did nada for my ADHD. Then when I got the ok from cardio, she started me on Adderall and lo and behold…Adderall did nothing either 😂. It actually put me straight to sleep, and she said that’s actually normal for ADHDers on Adderall. Ritalin was better for me alongside the Wellbutrin, but I wanted off of stimulants because of how they can affect your heart. Im on Straterra now and it’s not so bad actually.

        @DenimJeans same except in reverse -- Adderall & Vyvanse 👍🏻, but Ritalin 🅾️

        @DenimJeans I'll look into Strattera! I feel the same way about it not helping the adhd but helping in other ways. I also don't really wanna be on a stimulant as I already experience palpitations. So I'd rather not risk it lol
