Hello I just got test results back because I was worried about my executive function because there are days where I just cannot get out of bed and every there is something I can't do no matter how bad I need or want to. I thought I had adhd but it turns out I don't and my executive function issues come from my Persistent Depression. I originally was diagnosed with Major Depression along with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. The specialist that did my testing suggested welbutrin (along with counseling and school accommodations) because it's an antidepressant but it has a bit of a stimulant in it so he said that might help me with executive function and task initiation. Does anyone have any input or opinions on this or welbutrin in general?
