I know I'll be better and not as stressed working about if he is bring anything into my home or not. Also I think so will my family. I will still worry about him because he is still my brother but I think it will be much better then to be hiding in my room or wondering if he is bring anything in.

I just had one a couple of days ago, went two years not having one until now. My husband said it was the longest that he can remember and said it lasted 5 min. I have been under a lot of stress recently due to my brother who lives with us. He recently was caught by my daughter and myself buying drugs. I told him he has two options, either get help or move out. He chose to move out. It has made my blood pressure high and I feel like a prisoner in my own home at the moment, because I can't stand to look at him. This isn't the first time he has done it, when we lived in another state he did this and we told him he had to move out. That was years ago and I thought he had learned from that, but I guess I was wrong. He knew the consequences when he did it and he still did! It is breaking my heart but I have to protect my family and myself.

Well when I was younger it happened a lot. Now that I am older and they are different it happens vary few times. Meaning I can go a couple of years with nothing but yesterday I had one. I know right now my stress is really high and I was recently diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. This one lasted about 5 minutes according to my husband and daughter. My blood pressure has been high because of my anxiety right now. My brother has been causing issues in the home and I recently told him that he either gets help or to move out. He has chosen to move out. My daughter and I caught him getting drugs and he he lied about it. I can't trust him and need him out asap. It is causing so much anxiety that it is affecting me in a horrible way. The doctors are baffled and do not understand what is going on.

How many and how often does this happen?
Sounds like brain zaps maybe?
@Woo Brain zaps? Do tell please!
@Kadair it can be from certain medications, withdrawal from antidepressants, or just due to high stress. Your brain send an electrical pulse through your body randomly and jolts you. A lot of people experience it a little differently though. For me it only last like a second or two. So if your symptoms are lasting longer, it may be something else.
