Need help identifying a weird neck symptom
Hey I am new to this app in attempt to try and find someone else that has experienced this specific symptom I have been dealing with recently. It isn’t consistent and some days I don’t have it at all and others I have it all day. It is this weird tense feeling in my neck. Not just in the back, but on the sides and front of my neck too. I don’t have trouble swallowing or breathing, and it isn’t my throat. It feels muscular. It’s just this tight tense stiff feeling and I can’t find what it could be. The closest possible thing I relate to is TMJ because it does radiate up into my jaw and I have many other symptoms of TMJ. Does anyone else ever feel this? And some days I also have a tremor on my smile and on my neck when I flex it. It’s hard to explain and I can’t find anything on Google.

I would find a good pain dr and have him give you shots in your neck. You can go to sleep as long as you have someone drive you home. Even if you feel terrific have someone drive you home. Hopefully you can have it in his office. I say his because I have never found a woman pain dr. That will help even if it is temporary unless you want to go to physical therapy for your neck
