Weird Appetite Changes - Is it POTS?

anyone else have weird appetite changes? my appetite has gotten out of control out of no where and i can’t figure out a reason so i’m assuming it’s pots. any ideas?

I’ve noticed weird appetite swings too! I’ll go for a while not being hungry at all, and barely eating, then I’ll have periods of time when I’m super hungry. I usually chalk it up to being in recovery from anorexic, but now I’m not sure

Low sodium will be the most likely cause if it is really because of POTS. It's common for POTS patients to have an increased appetite for salty foods because it increases the blood pressure and levels out symptoms. My pots was diagnosed when I was 14. When I was 13, I asked my parents for a salt lick (like for livestock) for Christmas because my appetite was so out of control 😅😅

our only theory is my stomach healed over the summer and this is a normal appetite but i’m so used to being sickly skinny?

Mine is out of control in the low direction mostly. But it also depends on the time of day. My breakfast appetite is uncontrollably off the charts, yet come the afternoon i don't want to eat much at all

i can’t figure out any rhyme or reason with mine. out of no where i started eating like a line backer. i’ve always been just barely not underweight, and i put on 10 pounds out of no where. we think it might just be because my mental and pain physical health is better in the summer and this is what i would eat like if i was healthy? so if i go back to school and lose it again i guess we’ll know 🫣
