I am in the works to have gastric sleeve Aug 2022. I am currently 285. Biggest I've ever been was 290. I don't have any major health conditions, but I can tell the weight is starting to affect my knees and feet. I'm hoping the surgery will be successful for me.

Me too girl I lost 140 the first yr followed all the rules, at one yr on the mark, I stopped loosing, for around 6 to 8 months I stayed the same but started to get frustrated. Then I'd gain slow over 2 or 3 yrs. Up TILL I WAS JUST 20 POUNDS From my original weight. So now I am getting help from my nurse practitioner we started me on metformin I lost 20 pds pretty fast but I have 2 really bad knees I get shots the whole bit have for probably 6 or 7 yrs. But in order to get knew knees to exercise more I I hafta get from my 350 AGAIN down to 210 at the most and probably stay there for a bit before they will do my knees or its a wheel chair. Doctor gave me a Script for a bariatric walker to get me to walk more. It wears me out and me knees hurt really bad. Nice for a girl fixin to turn 53 who still thinks she is 25.
