I've lost 25 pounds just from portioning my meals. I usually found it difficult to diet as well and the only thing that helped me was taking everything I would normally eat and eat half the size. It only took me a few days to get used to. Something that helps is serving myself on a smaller plate. Another thing that helped was drinking only water. If I ever wanted to treat myself with a coffee or a bobba tea (my weakness), I'll only drink it once a week

I cut out a bunch of sugary soda I give myself 1 soda a week but I drink coffee almost everyday but, I drink bottled splash mango Pineapple water that's zero calories instead of something super sugary. Ice cream were a big craving I had to get rid of eating all the time.

I have an ED past so I had to be really careful when finding out a good way to improve my health. So far I’ve lost over 50 pounds by allowing myself to eat how ever much I want of good things (undressed salads, fish cooked in a healthy way etc.) to avoid relapsing. I still eat junk food now and then but when I’m full on healthy food I don’t really crave it that much. It sucked the first week because I wanted junk food all the time but now I don’t really crave anything I can’t eat unlimited amounts of lol.

Low carb, but not keto. I try to do low everything. Lost 40 pounds. It has been a lifestyle change that I've managed to keep up for 4 years.
