Chronic Nausea and Vomiting for a Year - Seeking Advice

Hi! I’ve been having chronic nausea and vomiting for almost a year and doctors can’t find the issue. I had an appendectomy last month and that only got rid of the pain. I’m doing a sibo test now and thinking about looking into Lyme disease. But was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues or recommendations for potential diagnoses to talk to my doctor about

I’m having the same issue , mine has been since 2017 I cannot eat most meat and carbs now bc they make me sick. I can tell what I’ve done so far in hopes it helps you. First easiest test is blood / prick test for food allergies. Be sure intake food with blood . Gastric related would be endoscopy /colonoscopy /bloodwork/stool/urine tests /breath test/labs -they can test for bacteria growth, parasites, gastric autoimmune like celiac disease, crohns disease and ulcerative colitis in these tests and much more .. I also have had a stomach draining test and ct scan to see if there’s a intestine blockage or growth. I did the hida scan to see my gallbladder function but I had to see a general surgeon for that. Next is sometimes its female related so always good makes sure you don’t have any blockages with female growths .Check hormones as well. I did get Lyme disease checked as well. I had a general basic autoimmune test . Another lab was all diff kinds of thyroid tests, diabetes and Insulin resistance. I still at a loss what wrong with me but I hope my elimination list helps you . Im here if you need more help or have questions feel free to ask.

I had cyclic vomiting remedied with zyrtek and pepcid. I found out that I have Familial Mediterranean Fever. I am 95 percent European and 4 percent Saudia Arabian. I would have never guessed without genetic testing.

I had constant nausea and then I went to the doctor and got testing. Turned out my gallbladder was not working efficiently. Definitely look into it. It saved me.

what test did you do to find out it was your gallbladder? I did an abdominal mri a month ago, endoscopy a couple months before that, and ultrasound in august and they always said it looked normal :/

I had the same problem and had my gallbladder removed. It made a huge difference for me.
