Effects of Weed and Psychedelics on Insomnia

I recently started smoking weed and doing psychedelics and was wondering if either would affect me badly as I use weed to sleep now due to insomnia some days

Hey bro, my personal experience is that cannabis is a medicine. But not one that requires strict regulation. Cannabis can do so many wonderful things. Use it how it helps you best. It won't affect you much long term. Psychedelics are fun sometimes but if you do your research, you'll be good. Have a good one!

I tried psychedelics and idk if it was the ADHD or the OCD or the anxiety because of those but I couldn’t sleep because of the black helicopters looking into my window. I personally wouldn’t try them with weed because of the chemistry between the two especially with insomnia. Definitely talk to your doctor (if you’re in the US they can’t report you or take legal action cuz hippa) because they can give you personal advice not just statistics.

The other comment is not entirely accurate, I have friends that have smoked for years and can eat plenty while sober. There’s no scientific backing to their claim. As for the psychedelics, not much research has been done into the long term effects but things are looking promising in the long haul, as long as it isn’t constant heavy doses

one thing you need to know about weed is that eventually it will give you stomach problems to the point where you won’t be able to keep anything down unless you smoke 🖤 also psychedelics will come back in the future even after you’re sober, if you use them one too many times. be safe and do what you will with that info
