i focus on deep breathing, i like to use essential oils, and seperate myself from the situation that is giving me anxiety or worry. it is hard to deal with sometimes, but learning new coping skills will truly help. when i have bad anxiety, if possible, i dunk my face in ice water. it brings me back to the moment. also, if i am nervous that i will be sick, i take my temperature to reassure myself that i don’t have a fever. usually for me, if i don’t have a fever, then i won’t be sick. that helps to relax me a little more.

I tell my self out loud to relax and just try to remember that nothing bad will happen if someone around me or myself were to throw up. I also try to distract myself with something I like, such as tv, making bracelets, taking walks, etc. if that doesn’t work for you and nothing will take your mind off of it take a shower and some deep breaths, this doesn’t work for everyone but when I’m super anxious it usually helps a little. Also talking to someone really help whether that is a parent, friend, therapist, etc. they might be able to give you reassurance. Reach out if you need anything, I have been struggling with this my whole life, but I have learned so many coping strategies over the years.
