Hello! My name is Amanda I am brand new here. I got diagnosed with panic disorder and depression when I was 15, now almost 25…What are some ways everyone finds that relax /calm them down when you’re feeling anxious? I’m currently on Prozac.

      Breathing exercises are my anchor. When anxiety starts taking ahold of my brain I center myself on my breath. I let each breath carry me from one moment to the next, to the next, until I reach my destination of a place where I'm not anxious. It took practice to be able to do it so easily and block out my mind and distractions. But once you can, it's a life saver.

      I like to journal, draw/ color, listen to music/ play instruments , movement activities like fidgets/ pacing for a set amount of time
