My doctor has me on watch and wait but I am nervous that I am not doing anything to treat this. Should I be concerned?

I had the same reaction when I was first diagnosed and placed on W&W 14 years ago (only having to start chemo this week). Needless to say at that time I was told there really wasn't anything I could do to help improve my chances. I would however suggest exercise, and a good diet along vitamins and supplements (subject to your doctor's approval), and just enjoying life!

@roast Watch and wait, or as many refer to it as watch and worry, is hard for many of us to accept as it seems counterintuitive. However our specialists know what they're doing. The best things to do during this time: learn about CLL (it's complicated) so you understand it plus this will help you self advocate when it's time for treatment, eat healthy and exercise. Also some folks are in W&W for many years!
