Walgreens' New Pain Medication Policy in Florida

Has anyone else in Florida encountered Walgreens new policy regarding pain medication? It took me 4 days and countless calls to finally get my medications. I can't imagine doing this every single month, it's so frustrating and draining. More importantly though is that these meds can't be stopped without physical repercussions. In my case, I typically have seizures when suddenly stopping these meds. That's obviously scary, and dangerous to my health. I would love to use another pharmacy, but I haven't found another pharmacy that carries Methadone (for pain relief). The other difficulty is that my doctor only sends scripts electronically, and no longer gives me a paper script. In FL a pharmacy won't tell you whether or not they could/would have the medicine without a script in hand. So here I am stuck in the middle, and paying the price for Walgreens getting in trouble with the DEA. If anyone in south eastern Florida has suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
