Looking for a cheaper alternative to Vyvanse

I am currently taking Vyvanse, but since it is so expensive I need to switch medications. I tried nearly all medications available to treat my ADD and Vyvanse worked best, but I have to find another one due to the price. Which stimulant is most like Vyvanse? Has anyone done well with Vyvanse and also done well with a different medication, and if so what is the other medication?

      @swaghetti.girl yeah aside from trying a separate medication there may be a local or state program to get aid from, as well? Not sure if that's a thing but there could be and aside from changing to Adderall, which has worked for me and my sister, the only other thing I could think of would be looking for discounts/a different store pharmacy.

      vyvanse is patented and there is no off name brand available until the patent expires in june 2023 :( #bigpharma

      Use Goodrx in conjunction with switching off name brand if you can, the discounts can really help if money is tight

      I did okay with vyvanse, it helped the adhd but I had horrible side effects with my gut so I switched off of it to adderall, which has worked the best for me
