Struggling with vWd: What Are Your Experiences?

I get easily bruised, occasional nosebleeds, and stomach internal bleeding (when i was younger)

how bad is the pain from the procedure?

It totally changed my quality of life no joke! I am a nurse and I would get them mid shift for hours. I just couldn’t manage it anymore. I scheduled with ent and they took a look and cauterized ! I haven’t had a major one since (5+ years) I still get some bleeding with blowing too hard/ dryness but not nearly the amount

Yes!! Mine would last for hours. I did it with an ENT !!

I use to have nosebleeds with that kind of frequency and ingot my nose cauterized and it’s helped tremendously

constant nosebleeds. i get them multiple times a day, lasting for up to an hour sometimes.

That's good. What helped your cycle get under control?

I have low factor 8 ! I honestly don’t have too many issues now that I have cycles under control

I don't know my subtype but I'm 2 also. Platelet disfunction
