Vomiting after MALS surgery

Hi. i just recently had mals surgery and now i cant eat or barely drink without vomiting. has anyone else had this happen. what to do?

I haven’t had MALS surgery yet but I use marijuana to help with vomiting, but I have to smoke it because I vomit the edibles. I’m not sure what state you’re in, how old you are or if this even applies to you but it is a lifesaver for me when zofran just doesn’t cut it. I’m also curious if anyone else has experienced this. When was your surgery? How long has it been going on for? I’m sorry you’re dealing with this ): I hope it gets better soon ❤️

Thinking about it now, my surgeon says he will avoid doing anything with the nerves during surgery and just cut the ligament since I reacted poorly to the celiac plexus nerve block (vomiting and pain way worse). It ended up getting better but I wonder if you may be having a reaction from the nerves. I obviously have no idea what I’m talking about tho but just a thought. Hopefully it’s something like that because mine got better after a week or so 💕
