does anyone here get really vivid dreams that expose the psyche in a raw form where you’re able to work on your mental health? i’m on a combination of meds. venlafaxin xr, gabapentin, prazosin, quetiapine, and trazadon.

Hi Salvie, For the past 3 years now I've had the most vivid dreams some nightmares but not all. These dreams are so real I feel like I'm in another reality almost and I constantly wake up tired. I was recently diagnosed with PTSD and BPD and prescribed prazosin but it doesn't do anything for the dreams for me. I've tried trazadone once in the past but it was too strong for me and I have taken gabapentin over the past 5 years on and off due to nerve damage from a spinal cord injury. I have vivid dreams whether I take meds or not and I usually remember them. I also noticed if I'm having these dreams and I wake up throughout the night i will fall back into the same dream like I never woke up, it really trips me out sometimes. I struggle with this alot and tend to suffer from exhaustion during the day and insomnia at night and it's tiring to say the least. I do believe my subconscious is trying to tell me something and I try to analyze my dreams looking for clues to how they can fit into my life and struggles but I find it difficult to talk to people about what I dream bc of judgement form them.
