Vivid and Violent Nightmares

I had that happen to me and I had to get on medication for it. I'm on the medicine prazosin and it honestly has helped so much. I would recommend talking to your Dr about getting on something to help

I had ptsd nightmares for years, and then I met a psychiatrist that told me about a med for it. It's a blood pressure medication, Prazosin, but in small doses it blocks these kinds of nightmares, I still use it. Can you talk to someone and see if this is an option for you? I know how bad these nightmares can be, I used to have to call out of work sometimes because a nightmare the night before was so awful that it almost shifted my reality for that day.
