I hate holidays anymore, I don't feel the same way about them that I used to.. yeah I have a valentine this year but she's long distance and hasn't even made a Valentines Day post about me when I made one for her and stayed up until midnight in her time zone making it. I can't get the same thing, or even an equivalent

      I am sorry your valentine has not made any effort to acknowledge you or your relationship. It hurts when that happens. My ex was like that. He down played everything, like it was no big deal. I used to love holidays. But over the years with him, I have gradually dwindled to barely tolerating them. I don't even get excited about birthdays (anyone's, not just mine). I have to remind myself that my grandkids get excited about all holidays and birthdays, so I can try to be excited with/for them.

      Happy Valentine's Day my Valentine is long distance as well. It's hard sometimes but I know soon we will be much closer to each other. I think it was very sweet of you to stay up late and make your Valentine a post she could have at least done the same for you. Maybe you could match that energy. She they act like they don't care show them how it feels. Either they will make the first move or show you who they truly are and reveal their true colors. You deserve to be happy, you deserve to feel loved, wanted, and needed. Never forget that. ☮💙🖤💜🕯

      Completely understand since my family grew up and moved on holidays just arnt the same I know it's not similar to yours but hope you feel better here to vent if need be

        @Tabatha I hope you feel better soon love. Covid kicked me in the arse last month I was sick the whole month. Finally got my strength and appetite back. Sending healing vibes love and light. ☮💙🖤💜🕯
