Using a Dummy/Pacifier for Age Regression

Hey everyone! I know age regression can be a part of bpd, and I do it a lot, but does anyone else use a dummy/ pacifier? I recently got a couple and they really help me sleep, but I feel slightly ashamed. I have a trip with strangers coming up and I’m scared they’ll think I’m weird for having a dummy at 27 :( My boyfriend agrees that it helps me a lot, but I don’t tell anyone but him and his mum (we live with her) Anyone else?

It's not very weird. I've actually been wanting to get one. I also wear diapers when I age regress. A lot of people with BPD don't know about the age regression because it's not talked about alot. I used to feel ashamed about my wants like that, but my partner has given me so much confidence.

I also use a pacifier! it's pretty helpful for me as well. you shouldn't feel ashamed, if it helps it helps and that's all that matters. if anyone gives you problems just ignore them! people who don't understand that certain things help, (even if it's considered "odd") just refuse to see past the whole thing. if it helps, it helps, and if it doesn't, it doesn't! I know a whole lot of people like myself who use them, if it makes you feel better! 👍

^ plus, I also age regress and know others who do was well! it's a coping mechanism that is genuinely helpful for some!
