Tips for Dealing with Urinary Incontinence

I’ve done the Botox for about 3 years. It did hep. It’s done in the office. Once that stopped I got an Interstim implant which has been great. Find a good Urogynecologist.

I had vaginal mesh put in about 15 years ago. It worked great for about 8 years. Then it failed and started coming through my skin. I didn’t have insurance or $10,000 to have it removed. I’m finally on Medicare and have an appointment Tuesday to see about getting it taken out. A friend of mine got the Botox shots and she’s so happy with it! I’m going to ask about getting those after I get the mesh removed. Meanwhile, Poise pads are my friend! Ha ha ha!!!

I got an interstim placed. (Kind of like a pacemaker for the bladder.) It helps.
