Concerns about Urethroplasty and Returning to Work

Hello, I was diagnosed with a urethral stricture during shock wave lithotripsy combined with a uteroscopy for right renal calculi in 2020. The surgeon told me at the base of my bladder my urethra is the diameter of a pin head. They put me on a waiting list for a buccal mucosal graft of my urethra and I have not received a date for this procedure since. I am generally concerned with the after effects of the urethroplasty particularly affecting sex, I'm a male in his 20s with a wife. I also have a physical job and am worried about when I can return to work and what the healing proccess will be like. Thanks
