I have been taking Paxil at 20mg for about a year for my OCD but I am thinking upping it may be beneficial to me. Has anyone else tried Paxil? tried more than me?

sorry i didn’t see this sooner! but i went back down to 40 because i felt like 60 was just too much and since i tend to accidentally skip doses i was worried about the brain zaps from withdrawal lol. 40 is a really good dose for me and i’ve heard good things about it from other ppl. i hope it help you a bit more!!

Good to know Rowan!! May I ask why you went back down to 40? I was thinking of upping it but hopefully I won't need all the way to 60! I had felt the 20 was helping as well as my ERP therapy but now I am relapsing which stinks so I thought I may see what more mgs would do!

i’ve been on it for a while! i started at 20mg too. i’ve upped mine to 60 and ultimately went back down to 40 but i had no side effects for either (although this isn’t the case for everyone), it was super helpful for me. it’s the only antidepressant i’ve tried thats done anything for my OCD :)
