I’m entering the prescription mental health world for the first time. Since I’m a young adult, the web pages on SSRIs all warn about increased suicidal thoughts when starting. This combined with reading other peoples negative experiences can feel overwhelming. Does anybody have any uplifting stories about how SSRIs have helped them? Or if they were able to ween off it and still feel mentally healthy afterwards? Thanks.

I’ve tried all different kinds of medications, both SSRI’s and mood stabilizers, and I’m finally on one that really works for me. Feel free to send me a chat if you want to ask any questions!
If you do end up feeling worse on them you’ll be fine when you stop taking them!
