Unusual Request for More Blood Work

I had a lab work done on Wednesday, they took 5 tubes of blood, then today I get a call that I needed to go back in again and have my blood drawn without telling me why they needed more blood and what is going on, this is unusual of my Dr. My Dr has never called unless something was abnormal. has anybody experienced this?

That would make sense, ugh this is a first for me and man not looking forward to getting poked at again it's extremely painful for me.

So annoying! It happened to me and they told me it was because the samples were 'hemolytic', dont really know why it can happen, I guess they didn't do the test correctly.

This has happened to me. Your blood probably clotted in the tube before they could run the test!

I have never had this happen, maybe someone in the lab screwed up and they don't want to admit it?
