@CMS1023 Hi, my doctor was careless. I struggle for two years with infections. Every two weeks I was back at the doctors and all they did was give antibiotics. I struggle and they just keep resolving with a ban aids. I was so desperate that I had them blast the stones on my left kidney and they almost killed me. Giving my history of infections (that they were very aware) they never checked for any infection prior to the surgery. After the surgery I felt as I was internally burned and felt extremely sick. Turns I had an infection and they passed the infection to my kidney and I ended up again at the ER with sepsis for the second time. I almost didn’t make it. After this experience I was terrified of the doctors and talking to a friend, he recommended I go to a natural doctor. He stated that he had some issues that she was able to help him. I gave her a try and it was the best decision I made. Turns out that the main reason I was getting infections was because I had Candida and I was gluten intolerant. She changed my diet and I haven’t been to the hospital or the regular doctor since. Once in a while I get little jab from the stones but thanks to God no infections.

I am dealing with them right now. I am on Humira for other issues, and it is causing chronic kidney infections. I had a cystoscopy. I have not had the lithotripsy, because having almost 30 years in the medical field I know they are most often not very effective. My urologist is letting me try to pass the sludge and stones myself as long as there is no obstruction. Unfortunately, your experience is very common. Lithotriosy is like back surgery, often ineffective.
