I have had no surgery but by picking the brains of gastroenterology professionals they almost tell you it will return in some way shape or form. I hate how I feel sometimes but it is better then failed surgery or reoccurring issues….

I wish I had an answer for you. I've been dealing with this problem for over a decade. First surgery just made things worse. Next surgery was only an attempt to put in a linx. They opened me up and closed me back saying there wasn't enough good tissue left to attach the linx to. Every day I just do the best I can.

Yes, I had/have again a type 4 hiatal hernia. Had surgery 2.5 years ago. Hernia was back in place with my colon and small intestines six months later. No symptoms until recently. I really don't know what to do.
