šŸ€- so, our current therapist diagnosed us with c-ptsd earlier this year and then, hasn’t touched on it since? i’m not sure if this is normal because i’ve tried talking about lots of stuff with him (our intrusive thoughts, our father, our hallucinations) and he seems to brush them off. i’m not particularly sure what to do at this point because he’s the only therapist in our area so. what do i do?

As a danganronpa fan I'm disappointed to see people appropriating DID on every damn platform with my comfort game. Smh.

I was also diagnosed with C-Ptsd. I hope you find a therapist that can better help you.

Would you consider telehealth? He doesn’t sound very open to being your therapist. I’m glad you got a diagnosis but if that’s all the help you’ve gotten then I think it’s time to move on. If you’ve talked about intrusive thoughts and stuff and he’s just brushing them off or doesn’t want to talk about what he diagnosed you with then I think you need someone new. If you have the money try betterhelp. Or find another therapist via psychologytoday. I hope you get the help you need ā¤ļø
