Hi everyone! I’m looking for people who have similar experiences to myself. Thanks 💜 Some things that I couldn’t add to my profile are that I have an undiagnosed gastrointestinal “something”, a few markers of some kind of generic “something” (great vocabulary doc lol), and my ADD diagnosis may be something else on the neurodiverse plane.

Yeah, I think it’s either autism or sensory processing disorder, because I have a lot of sensory issues. I do have some social struggles, but my anxiety and my visual impairment together almost guarantee that so it’s hard to tell. My last therapist told me “you probably had autism and grew out of it” 🙄 I’m hopefully going to be back in therapy within a month or 2 and will be able to get evaluated again!!

I’ve been through a lot of digestion issues and ulcers due to all my medications. If you don’t mind the unsolicited advice, one of my favorite cures for stomach troubles is this combo: aloe vera juice mixed with cran-apple juice, collagen powder, and GI powder (you can find that on Amazon). It has worked wonders for me!

That sounds rough! I hope they find out what's up with your gastrointestinal stuff, and you're able to get that taken care of soon! As far as the ADD, have you or your therapist (if you have one) considered the possibility of autism? They have a lot of overlapping/similar symptoms, so it might be worth a shot. I know in my case that when I first went to therapy (in middle school) it was because my mother and maybe some teachers thought I had potentially had autism, but it turned out to be ADHD instead. Ironically, it was almost the opposite for my sister!
