Understanding Systemic Candidiasis and Intertrigo Skin Rashes

Hi Alikes..diagnosed with ' systemic candidiasis 26 yrs ago. Only recently learned there was much I could do about it. Just finished 2 months of anti-candida enzymatic and probiotic treatment which ran out bout 2 weeks ago and I wasn't able to afford to reorder until yet. Most prominent and by far worst symptom for years has been ' intertrigo' skin rashes...particularly in groin area. Around time I ran out of probiotic treatment symptoms were rather chronic and intense. I wonder whether what I was experiencing was directly from systemic candidiasis or intense Herxheimer reaction ?

Hi, I’m sorry you are dealing with Candida… I was 21 and suffering like you are but didn’t know why, I was drinking beer, and eating foods a normal 20 year old would eat… when my Father did research on the computer to find out what was going on with me.. I was bloated, always tired, had issues with my digestive system, brain fog and extremely bad rashes to the point it hurt to shower… I used to scratch until I was bleeding… I finally went to a holistic Dr & they made me change my foods. I had to stay away from bread. Dairy. Sugar if any kind. Alcohol, anything fermented including condiments that contained vinegar. Wheat, gluten and the list goes on. This was over 20 years ago as I’m now 46. It still consumes my life because I find socially it is impossible to stay away from all those foods, I now suffer with fibromyalgia from stress & depression, what’s hard is I have to stay away from foods that cause inflammation which I was allowed having on the Candida diet. So I try to eat good most of the time, & exercise. It’s the only thing that helps. I didn’t feel Any of the Candida meds helped.
