I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure over a year ago. I take Toresmide 40 mg in the morning and just started taken it also 40 in the afternoon. I really don't know my stage. I just know it is progressing. One of my questions is how do you read your NT PROBNP blood test. what does it mean when it gives a value amount.

@Sunshine36 Hi! What is an impela implant?

I forgot what my EF is but my heart is functioning better with Entresto twice a day. I take Torsemide in the morning and sometimes I run to the bathroom every ten minutes for hours. Have you experienced this with taking the diuretic? This can’t be good on kidney functioning.

Hey, what's was your bnp when diagnosed/now? Mine when diagnosed in 2015 was a little over 20,000...I was extremely sick...my EF was below 10% and they had to put in an impella...do u know what your EF is? That would help to know what stage u are in.
