Hi! So I have these episode where my eyes move up and down really quickly, out of my control. Sometimes my eyelids flutter, I may get a twitch in my finger or my cheek. During this I feel kind of zoned out, like I’m in a dream, and I can’t stop it or move at all. It only happens when I’m tired of really badly fatigued. The episodes last 15-30 seconds each but come in clusters of usually at least 3 episodes. I saw a neurologist and she said it was a tic. We asked why they happen and she said it could be stress or anxiety. And she said that most people just grow out of it. I’m not convinced. Does anyone think she’s right? What can I do to help it because it’s really interfering with my studying? If it’s not a tic, what could be?
