Unbearable Pain at Night

I wish I could sleep but the pain is unbearable at night, with no distraction I just cry. Life seems so unfair.

I learned a trick from a sports medicine specialist. If you take a towel and wrap it like you're ringing the water out of it so super tight and then align it with your spine. You lay on top of it and it pulls your spine apart little by little. And it allows your spine to decompress a little bit. It might help with your spine pain if that is the cause. Not sure if this will help but if it does that would be amazing.

Pain has definitely impacted my sleep over the years. But it took me along time to realize it was the pain and not something like anxiety (though that can cause it too occasionally). I got my medical card and that has helped far more then most other medications I have tried. I just use it at night for sleep.

Sorry to hear:/ do you take muscle relaxers?

I've tried all of them I've been told. They don't really work. My muscles are knots from holding the guarding position for over 10 years. The system failed me.

I totally understand. It's hard to rest with fibromylagia and causes me to cry myself to sleep at times.
