To find a doctor that can put all the pieces of my health together so I can get to some sort of baseline. It’s hard being the expert on all of my conditions, and having to talk across different specialists. I’d love to have some solid coping and support for lesser known chronic conditions, and symptoms that are exacerbated by stress. Because I can’t totally remove the stress from my life, and I know it’s only making my health worse to keep pushing through with no answers.

Right now it's to be successful in managing my PCOS. I finally got diagnosed during my latest stretch of what I like to call: Operation get my period back! PCOS has been the root to a lot of my health problems including insulin resistance! I'm otherwise pretty healthy! But I'm realizing maybe this is all happening NOW for a reason. I'm finally taking my vitamins, lost weight and am maintaining a healthy weight, exercising 2-3 times a week, eating under 25g of sugar a day (which ~15g or less are added sugar rn from wheaties). Had I not had the symptoms I've been having so young and had they not worsened now I probably wouldn't realize until I was much older and it was harder for me to turn it all around.

to work up the courage to talk to my psychiatrist about seeing things. everytime i tell one, i end up never going back because of the fear i have that they’re all evil and gønna label me as mentally ill when in reality i have a gift to see things that others can’t see. i believe they’re spirits or something, but see if i tell someone that they’re not gonna see it the way i do they’re gonna go thinking,”oh this b*tch went bonkers”
avatar

JinMar

2y ago

I try to see the stuff (spirits) but nothing I do gets me there. I just lost my dad and I try so hard to talk to him, I ask him to let me see him one last time. But nothing is working.
