Sharing my experience with Ulcerative Colitis and adrenal insufficiency

Hi! I’m 19 and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2021. I’ve been on biologic treatments, and had a colectomy in June 2022 as the treatments stopped working causing a severe flare. I now have adrenal insufficiency due to high steroid use for the colitis. I’m keen to share experiences and what works with others. 😊

I’m 21 and got diagnosed this time last year at 20. I’ve also suffered with adrenal issues as I was on steroids for over 9 months and became dependent on them. It took 3 times tapering off then before I managed to stop them. I’m currently getting tested to see if i can be put on biologicals. I’d love to hear your experience with the biological treatment.
