I am a type 1 diabetic (I have been since I was 15 months old). I am 34 years old and have lived a very fulfilling life (with lots of ups and many steep bottoms). This past weekend, I was hospitalized for DKA and cellulitis. This has made me realize I want / need more friends who understand the troubles we diabetics go through. I thought about posting this on FB, but I don't think it would get very much attention. So, here it is, any type 1 diabetics wanna make a group chat to celebrate the mile stones and complain about the lows and having to "shoot up" 😂😆 (had to do that as it always made my friends so mad in public)? if so, let me know! :) Also, anyone feel like everytime your emotions change your blood sugars do the same?
