Sadly I have been hospitalized over 20 times just in the last 2 years.. I’m not even kidding. I finally got back on a pump again and it’s helped a lot but I find myself feeling very angry still. And then it turns into feeling like what’s the point, I don’t want to do this forever and why? Why would I try so hard to stay alive if I don’t enjoy my life anyways? It always comes down to what is the point anymore.

I have this problem too but it’s so so important to stay on top of your sugars. My mental health made me unmotivated and I’ve gone into DKA 4 times in a year. Having a support system works more than you’d think- having people to vent to, be on top of your treatment when you can’t be. Setting an alarm has even been helpful. Just don’t let it get to the point I did. Diabetes can be draining and can make you feel isolated, but you’re not alone! I’m here to help with whatever you need :)
